Dear Oil Painting Enthusiasts!!
I am excited to announce plans to offer a variety of classes for 2012.
Below is a list of tentative classes and times I will have available
in 2012 at my home.
Beginning Oils for Kids - This is a fun class for kids 8 years old and
up to explore their artistic abilitites and learn all the basics of
oil painting while producing three paintings.
Saturday's from 2 to 4 pm class fee $80
Beginner's Oil Painting - This class is geared to adults that want to
try very easy paintings yet learn about mixing colors, paint
consistency,application and composition during the 6 week class.
Monday afternoons 2 to 4 pm at my home. Jan 16th to Feb 20th. Class
fee is $80.00.
Northern Michigan Scenes in Oils - This Oil painting class is for
everyone, young and old, beginner or advanced. We will briefly discuss
perspective and the secrets of drawing from a photograph to the
canvas. Learn about value, hue, and intensity. We will be exploring
our beautiful surroundings while painting northern michigan scenes
with trees, streams, cabins or lighthouses and maybe even a few birds
or wildlife.
Tuesday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm at my home. Jan 17th to Feb 21st
Class fee $ 95.00
Independent Studies - choose your project to paint and get guidance
from Jeanne. This class is for the more advanced student.
Sunday afternoon's from 1 pm to 5 pm at my home.
Jan 15th to Feb 19th Class fee is $95.00
Basic Beginner's Sketching class - We will address hand positions for
sketching, tonal charts, line drawing, how to create textures, shapes,
shading, and simple composition. We will address one and two point
perspective and produce new sketches every week. Bring pencils,
eraser, and sketch book.
Monday evenings 6 to 8 pm Jan 16th to Feb 20th Class fee is $ 60
